The laundry is piling up. The bottles need washing. You haven’t eaten a real meal all day. Sound familiar? You don’t have to do it alone. At Inland Breastfeeding Center, our 3-hour in-home postpartum doula visit is designed to lighten your load - literally. Whether you’re one week or several months postpartum, our doulas show up to help with the real-life stuff that gets overwhelming fast. This visit isn’t about checklists or pressure. It’s about meeting your needs in the moment: practically, gently, and without judgment. Our doulas are here to support your recovery, your home, and your baby in the ways that matter most. During a postpartum visit, we may: - Wash and sanitize bottles, pump parts, or baby gear - Tidy up the nursery, bedroom, or living space - Fold baby laundry or your laundry (no shame - we love a good swaddle pile!) - Prep snacks, warm up a meal, or refill your water bottle so you stay nourished - Hold or care for baby so you can nap, shower, or just breathe for a moment - Help set up your diaper changing station or organize baby supplies - Take out the trash, run a quick errand, or load/unload the dishwasher - Offer emotional support and a listening ear if you just need to talk Insurances accepted for 3-hour Postpartum Doula Home Visit: - Medi-Cal - IEHP - Kaiser (through Medi-Cal) - Some HealthNet plans Let us walk alongside you - you don’t have to figure this out alone!
