At Inland Breastfeeding Center, our prenatal Doula visits are so much more than just preparing for labor: they’re an invitation to feel seen, supported, and grounded as you step into one of life’s most powerful transitions! Whether this is your first baby or your fifth, every journey into parenthood is unique. Our team is here to meet you where you are with compassion, expertise, and a deep respect for your instincts and preferences. During this visit, you'll meet with one of our experienced doulas, who will take the time to listen to your story, answer your questions, and help you feel more connected to your body, your baby, and your birth. Our care is holistic, yet rooted in science. As a team of doulas, registered nurses, pediatric occupational therapists, craniosacral therapists, massage therapists, lactation consultants, and maternal wellness specialists, we work together to support the whole you: emotionally, physically, and practically. During your prenatal visit, we may explore: - Your hopes and preferences for birth, and how to communicate them - Evidence-based practices for a safer, more supported birth experience - Comfort techniques for labor, including movement, breath, and positioning - What to expect in the early postpartum days - physically and emotionally - Breastfeeding and bottle-feeding prep, tailored to your unique needs - Creating a postpartum care plan that honors your rest and recovery - Support for partners and loved ones on how to show up in meaningful ways This is a space where you don’t have to have it all figured out.
